Description
RABEPRAZOLE
Rabeprazole is used short-term to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and children who are at least 1 year old.
Rabeprazole is used only in adults to treat conditions involving excessive stomach acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Rabeprazole is also used in adults to promote the healing of duodenal ulcers or erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).
Rabeprazole may also be given with an antibiotic to prevent duodenal ulcers caused by infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori).
DOMPERIDONE
Domperidone is used in the treatment of indigestion, nausea and vomiting. Domperidone is a prokinetic. It works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach
